A white balance is how warm or cool your colors in your photo looks. Most of the time, colors in your photos will look pretty close to the way they looked in real life. Your camera is pretty good at reproducing color because it has the ability to analyze the scene and compensate for overly warm or cool colors. However a digital camera doesn’t have the smarts to make these adjustments automatically and sometimes will need us to tell it how to treat different light.
